The Hong Kong panorama includes sea and distant scenery. Places and activities open for exploration vary by location; follow the in-game map and local prompts.

Before you set off

What is HK: RPG?

HK: RPG stands for Hong Kong: Reality, Parody, Games, a browser open world game inspired by Hong Kong streets, internet culture and fictional urban legends.

What does 1:1 Hong Kong mean?

The map follows real Hong Kong locations at approximately 1:1 distances: places about one kilometre apart in real life are also about one kilometre apart in the game. Discover the New Territories, Kowloon, Hong Kong Island and the outlying islands. Buildings and stories are adapted for play, and available activities vary by location.

Do I have to follow the main story?

You can explore, ride transport, play mahjong, take delivery jobs or try a race before returning to your story. The World Atlas gives an overview; your in-game phone and settings provide more details.

How do shared worlds and personal stories work?

Multiplayer places players in a shared city while personal missions and progress belong to each player. Choose a world and follow the in-game account prompts, or explore in offline mode.

What do the atlas numbers mean?

The atlas shows transport, places to visit and missions to help you choose your next stop. Mahjong tables and seats show totals, rather than seats currently available.

Is the whole map area walkable?

The panorama includes city streets, countryside and sea. Some places cannot be reached on foot, and some buildings cannot be entered. Use the in-game map to find sights, transport and activities.

How do I start and control the game?

Use a keyboard and mouse: WASD to move, F to enter or leave a vehicle, and T / P for your phone. Settings contain the controls guide and World Atlas.

Your next stop is up to you.

Take a tram through the streets, or find a seat at a mahjong club? Open HK: RPG and start your own Hong Kong story.
